I created an interactive map showing free museums around NYC after spending a summer there and wanting a tool like it to exist.

Information Organization

The map integrates bright, contrasting colors and a monospaced typface to ensure readability while providing a modern, educational look.

Because I built it in Flourish, I had to work around filtering and layout limitations. Notably, I ended up coding my own custom legend in the header, and used Flourish's Legend to allow filtering by weekday.
