About
Hi! I'm Del Cro Halter, a graphic designer, gardener, and data enthusiast, currently pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design at the University of Florida.
I specialize in information and space-based design, as well as design for social impact. My work has taken me through museums, journalism, and nonprofit spaces; I am currently working as the Creative Director of Emic Anthropology Magazine and the Data Designer at The Independent Florida Alligator.
I believe that information is one of the most powerful tools for positive change, and I pursue this type of change through my work. I'm interested in how people absorb information, how physical and digital spaces are involved in this process, and how to improve information accessibility. These questions have led me to work on and among other projects.
Growing up in Florida, I have a special place in my heart for climate-positive work. The Earth is the most important space any of us reside in, and it is our responsibility to shelter it as it shelters us. I also spend a lot of time hiking, gardening, and writing (occasionally at the same time).
